Tokyo Manji Gang First Generation[]
Manjiro Sano[]
Takemichi and Mikey never meet in the original timeline. They only meet by chance when during one of the trips to the past, Takemichi challenges Kiyomasa to a 1v1. Noting Takemichi's bravery, Mikey takes an interest in him by saying that Takemichi will be his friend from now on. From then on, they become very close friends. Takemichi initially fears Mikey for his fearsome prowess but comes to respect him after he learns his true nature. Saving Mikey from corruption is one of Takemichi's priorities, as Mikey plays a significant role in the happenings of the present timeline. He gradually gains Mikey's complete trust and support and even becomes a guiding light for him.
Mikey had became grateful to Takemichi when he save Draken when he was stab Kiyomasa and recruited him into Toman.
Ken Ryuguji[]
Takemichi and Draken meet at the same time Takemichi and Mikey meet: during the underground battle club against Kiyomasa. Takemichi is similarly fearful of Draken as he is with Mikey, but also comes to harbor the same respect for him after understanding his real personality and character. After finding out that one of the causes of the present tragedy is Draken's death, Takemichi makes it one of his goals to protect Draken, which he manages to accomplish. Takemichi's bravery earns Draken's utmost respect and appreciation, as he is willing to set his immense pride aside to bow to Takemichi.
Tetta Kisaki[]
The relationship between Takemichi and Kisaki was largely one-sided. As a child, Takemichi saved a young Hinata Tachibana from bullies. This caused Hinata to have a long-lasting crush on him and incurred the jealousy of Kisaki, who liked Hinata. Takemichi only realizes who Kisaki is in the present when Naoto Tachibana informs him that he has become the head of the Tokyo Manji Gang. Since this revelation, the two have been effectively mortal enemies, with Kisaki attempting to force Mikey down a path of Darkness and Takemichi a path of light. Their views of each other only worsen with time, as Kisaki continuously tries to overthrow Toman while Takemichi stands in his way each time. However, despite their deep-seated hatred for each other, Kisaki still holds Takemichi in the highest respect, referring to him by the moniker of "Hero" and considers him on equal standing to himself. Takemichi likewise respects Kisaki enough that he broke down into tears at being unable to finally settle things with him after the battle against Tenjiku. As of the latest time leap, hostilities between the two have ceased, as Takemichi befriends Kisaki and invites him to become one of Toman's founding members.
Keisuke Baji[]
Takemichi took over Baji's position as the First Division Captain in Toman after his death. Prior to Baji's demise, Takemichi used to be frightened of him due to his headstrong and assertive demeanor. It was in Baji's nature to attack people whoever they may be and Takemichi was no exception to this, as seen when Baji, alongside Nahoya Kawata and Takashi Mitsuya, threatened to attack him when he interrupted Tetta Kisaki's promotion ceremony. However, Baji soon came to understand Takemichi's feelings by Bloody Halloween when he advised Baji to stay alive. While at the brink of death, Baji informs him of his plan and beliefs and that Kisaki is the true enemy all along, an indication that Takemichi has victoriously gained his trust.
Tokyo Manji Gang Second Generation[]
Chifuyu Matsuno[]
Chifuyu is the first person who Takemichi reveals his time-leaping powers to. Without a semblance of doubt, Chifuyu believes him and vows to help him. From then on, the two become close friends, as Chifuyu always has Takemichi's back. In the end, the two end up becoming best friends as they always care about each other, and they both respect and support each other.
Hakkai Shiba[]
Takemichi saved Hakkai from his abusive brother Taiju, after Mitsuya trades Hakkai for Yuzuha's freedom. Takemichi stands up for both of the siblings, amazing them and giving them hope. Hakkai also follows Takemichi straight into battle when Tokyo Manji Gang fights Tenjiku, trusting him.
Senju Kawaragi[]
Senju and Takemichi never met in the past or future timeline. Takemichi was only Senju's target to be recruited as Tokyo Manji Gang's former First Division Captain and the last successor to the Black Dragon to defeat Mikey and Kanto Manji Gang. After Takemichi joined Brahman and being Senju's gopher, he was shocked that she was a girl and had a different personality than the head of Brahman. Takemichi would later recruit Senju into the Second Generation Tokyo Manji Gang as the Fifth Division Captain.
Seishu Inui[]
Black Dragon[]
Taiju Shiba[]
Takemichi fights Taiju for Yuzuha and Hakkai's freedom. He earns Taiju's respect after the conflict, as seen when he helps Takemichi escape in an alternate timeline. Taiju would later return to assist Takemichi during the battle between the Tokyo Manji Gang and Kanto Manji Gang to help him reach Mikey.

After going back in time, Takemichi comes to greatly love and appreciate Hinata, which is slightly different from when he was a true 14-year-old. When he really was a 14-year-old, he constantly worried about her and cared little for his. He recalls that he also took her for granted, which were factors that led to their breakup in the past. Hina is one of the few people Takemichi relies on for support. In the first timeline, Takemichi runs away from his town abandoning Hinata, but in the second timeline Takemichi breaks up with her, although she never moved on and kept the necklace he gave her. Takemichi and Hinata are engaged in one timeline, but Takemichi tries to find Mikey, resulting in him getting shot three days prior to their wedding, ending the relationship in that timeline. When he time leaps again, Takemichi apologizes for the wedding. Hina was the main focus of Takemichi's time traveling but over the events of the story that has changed to saving everyone.

The two become friends because of their shared desire to save Hinata from her untimely death. Naoto even goes as far as to kill Mikey in one of the timelines because he views Mikey as a threat to Takemichi's life.
Yuzuha Shiba[]

Their first encounter occurred after Shinichiro successfully traveled back in time to save his younger brother, Mikey from suffering from a vegetative state.
